Working on Eccles Waste Water Treatment Works, GallifordTry-Costain-Atkins JV (GCA JV) commenced their first 1200m drive, using a Lovatt 131 Tunnel Boring Machine. Through early planning, GCA JV established the need for Compressed Air, in order to allow the team an ability to change tooling on the machine and conduct any interventions that may be required.
